The Bohemian Skirt Pattern

Easy peasant skirt with elasticized waist for comfort. The skirt can fit on the waist or below the waist (low-rise) depending on how you adjust the elastic. Make frayed or finished versions.

Materials List: 44" wide fabric
4 Fabric Version:
- 3/4 yard fabric (sizes 4-18) or 1 yard (sizes 20-22) (row 1)
- 1 yard fabric (rows 2 & 5)
- 1 yard fabric (rows 3 & 6)
- 1 yard fabric (rows 4 & 7)
- 1 pkg. 3/8" waistband elastic
- thread

7 Fabric Version:
- 3/4 yard fabric (sizes 4-18) or 1 yard (sizes 20-22) (row 1)
- 1/3 yard fabric (row 2)
- 1/3 yard fabric (row 3)
- 1/3 yard fabric (row 4)
- 1/3 yard fabric (row 5)

Suitable fabrics:
We used a variety of cottons for the skirts. Other fabric possibilities are rayon, silk, and other light weight woven fabrics.
